Plan on starting the first half of 1901 before this weekend, and will be doing about 1/2 of the season for each subsequent post.
There will be an all-star game each year that will occur 2 days after the season ends.
This is gonna be fun!!!

In the Beginning
This marks the offical beginning of the Champions Time Shift baseball League. The league will start in 1901 and continue through 2004.
The real league totals for the year being simmed will be used.
6 NL and 6 AL champs will make up 1901's setup.
Teams (by year i.e. the 1979 Orioles are a different team than the 1983 Orioles) will receive points for each season as seen below:
Winning best of 9 WS: 8 pts
1st in League 8 pts
2nd in league 4 pts
3rd in League 2 pts
4th in Leage 1 pt
5th in League 0 pts but stays in league
6th in League 0 pts and is removed/dropped from league including all their players
For 1901 the teams are
1938 Cubs and Yankees
1910 Cubs and Phil A's
1983 Phillies and Orioles
1979 Pirates and Orioles
1934 Cards and Tigers
1996 Braves and Yankees
The teams replacing last place team in each league for 1902 will be the 1996 Braves and Yankees
